Weird Problem with G7

Hey all, recently I got my G7 back in August and it was working like a dream. Recently I have no clue, but for some reason the settings for the dpi on the mouse seems to just not register. I can tell because I have it set at lvl 3 which is about 900dpi and the cursor scrolls pretty fast. Every time I turn my pc back up, the cursor scrolls incredibly scroll and I have to open up setpoint and redo the settings for the lvl of the mouse and it'll be fixed. It's annoying and I'm just curious if anyone else had this issue. Setpoint is updated and I did try repluging the dock for the mouse (I unplugged the receiver then plugged it back in). The battery charge is usually full. Any clues would be helpful, thanks.

you also have to play around with the mouse settings in control pannel. Took me a few days to get it where i want it

i have mine set to a custom DPI and on some boots it won't set itself to the DPI, or it seems slower. I just turn the mouse off and on again and that usually fixes it.
