Weird problem with Firefox

About a week ago I noticed this weird problem with Firefox. When I have Gmail open, and I open up another tab, it unmaximizes my browser window. This only happens when opening a new tab from Gmail.

So far, I've tried completely uninstalling Firefox, deleting the folder in both Program Files and User Application Data. I've also tried upgrading to 1.5. Nothing seems to make a difference.

This may seem like a small problem, and it is, but it's also very annoying. Here are a couple of screen shots to help show what I'm talking about.

just tried that on mine without having anyeffect when opening new tabs.
below are the extensions I use with FF
one of them is probably preventing this. and I lean towards the
tabbrowser extension,.
* Adblock Plus 0.5.10
* BugMeNot 0.9
* Flashblock 1.3.2.20051125
* Forecastfox 0.8.2.5
* IE View 1.2.7
* InfoLister 0.9c
* NoScript 1.1.3.4
* Nuke Anything Enhanced 0.53
* Remove It Permanently 1.0.6
* Right-Click-Link 1.1.1
* Tabbrowser Preferences 1.2.8.7

I'll try that out, but I didn't have anything besides Adblock before and I never had a problem

edit: The Tabbrowser Preferences extension seems to have fixed the problem. Still doesn't explain why it started happening in the first place, but at least it's fixed.

Now, do I stay with 1.5 or go back to 1.0.7?
