I've just installed a fresh copy of XP, and i'm trying to get everything back up to speed. I've got just about everything running ok, except there is a problem with my Video Card / Drivers. Anytime that a i manually (or if a game tries to) change the resolution, I hear a *click* and then my computer restarts. What should I do? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm running an ATI Radeon 9200se (Please don't just say "get a better card" :) )

When you installed your display driver, what version did you use, and how did you go about doing it? I hate to ask the obvious but did you install the latest Catalyst drivers clean, or did you simply let XP detect your adapter and install drivers automatically?

first off.. No offense taken by any questions asked..

II'm not sure what version.. I installed off of the CD that came with them.. I went Here at ATI's site, but i'm not sure if they're the correct ones, because the second download from the top doesn't say anything about 9200 serious.. is the first download on top the one I need?

is it the card that making the clik nosie becas i had a card that did that then it died like a few weeks later

I downloaded the newest drivers from the link i posted earlier, and verified that they supported my card. When i installed them it fixed the problem. Thanks.
