Weird Power Supply Problem?

I recently built a new computer with an A64 3000+ Venice and Chaintech VNF4 Ultra motherboard. Not doing my homework, I got a Rosewill 550 psu. Games were freezing or crashing left and right. I switched to an older 20 pin Antec Truepower 550 psu. All freezing in games has been eliminated.

Problem now is, I have to press the power button twice, on the front of the case, to get the machine to boot. First press turns the power led light on and nothing else. Second push boots the box normally. Anyone have any insight as to what is going on? Should I get another psu?

My machine is perfectly stable once it is booted. Is the power supply underpowered, causing it to act this way?

Dang! I should do a "SEARCH" 1st before I post the same question :D
I have the exact same problem, but mine,I need to turn Off and On from the back of the PSU. By pressin' twice or three times on the front of the power switch dont do jack. Unless, I let sit for 3-4 minutes(while the power led its on) then press the power button again, it would come on. I checked on the BIOS, everything seems on the specs. My PSU its a Antec 430 True Power.

The 20 pin Antec was my problem. Going back to my 24 pin Rosewill fixed the Power On issue for me. My earlier crashing with the Rosewill was due to an overheating video card.
