Ok, I just upgraded to a Sandy bridge 2500K OCed to 3.4GHZ.
Its a new system build except for the PSU, Case, and DVD drive.

Whats happening is Im getting random stutters in games and had the PC reboot twice now.

Here is the parts list:

2500K
4 gigs of Gskill RAM (2 sticks)
Gigabyte UD3 motherboard
64 Gig SATA SSD drive (OS)
130 Gig sata 7200 RPM HDD
EVGA GTX 470
Antec Earthwatts 550 Watt PSU

Im thinking im having a lack of power. What do you guys think? If it is, what would you recommend for wattage? Or do you think its something else? Its just that I would think this hardware would perform better than it is.

There is no 550W Earthwatts model. Can you double-check your PSU and figure out the exact one you have? Anyway, in case you've actually got the 500W model, that would be plenty for your system. The issues you're having would be a result of something else.

Sorry, Im at work and cant check

It was a true power 550Watt PSU that Died and Antec gave me an upgrade for free.

I thought it was an earth watt or something along those lines.
