So right now, I have a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe, a Barton 2500+ XP Mobile, 2 sticks of 256 200mhz OCZ Premier Ram (7-3-3-2.5). Right now I'm running 210x11, but I want to run the FSB higher, so I wanted to crank the bus, but I know pretty much that 2.3 is the limit to my CPU, but I thought heck, give it a try.

So I tried 220x11, and it booted up fine, tried to run HL2, but I crashed, so I thought great, time to drop the multiplier.

Proceed back to bios, put the multiplier down to 10.5, and all of a sudden the computer doesn't boot anymore. So I'm like... ok..... lets try 10. Same thing

So basically, what I've found is my system only boots up at 220x11, but nothing lower. Which to me doesnt make any sense, cuz obviously with a lower multiplier, there's less stress on all the systems.

Anybody have any ideas why this is happening?

Btw full system specs are in my sig.

its possible you have reached your max oc on your ram

Well.... here's the thing. If that was my max oc on my RAM (220). Why does it boot at 220x11, but not 220x10.5?!

I just tried 210x10.5, 210x10. Doesn't boot either, and I've been running 210 for the last 2 months 100% stable.

try new bios?[/QOUTE]

I'm using the newest bios right now, UBER 1013. I was using Uber 1012's. Haven't tried any other BIOS's though. I'm stumped
