i just cdead procs still warm up?hanged the heatsink on my computer and now i dont get a post(no video at all) I tried multiple videocards but that didnt make a difference. so since i have an abit nf7 i just unplugged everything, pulled out the mobo tray, and made sure everything was how it should be. i am thinking that the cpu might be dead but its been a while since i killed one. the heatsink gets warm so i dont know for sure. Do dead procs still warm up?maybe the mobo is dead too but the lred led power indicator lightis always on . aswell as the fans and the videocard fan turns on aswell.I wonder what could cause this? all i did was remove the threaded rods for my old waterblock and re attached it to my mobo tray.
