Ok,

Trying to find solution to 0x00000709 error. Setup:
2008R2 sharing a canon iP4000. Everything works fine from windows machines but fails with linux machines. After a while of debugging i checked 2008r2's print service events and got this line:
The Line Printer Daemon (LPD) service refused a print job from 192.168.1.xx for printer \\192.168.1.x\iP4000 because the specified printer does not exist on this computer. Retry printing from the client using the correct printer name.

This is rather interesting. After some googling i found out that ppl got same issue when using CNAME of the server instead of IP which is totally opposite situation compared to mine. Since \\hostname\iP4000 works flawlessly.

Tested to use \\192.168.1.x\iP4000 with windows computers and the server itself same problem. So the problem with linux machines is that they use IP address for printing instead of cname :|

This used to work but i think a power outtage killed it. If i cannot find any solution this i just migth reinstall the whole server (not really a big issue, the hdd got some issues with it so i'll do it anyways after i get replacement).
