Hi, so in my bios i have my multiplier set to x9 with an fsb of 275. im not trying to oc high, im just trrying to fix this. so i use those inputs and i check cupz and it says my multiplier is at x6 and myfsb is changed in cpuz so it says 275. and the core speed says 1650.

Now the interesting thing that i noticed was when i was looking at my oc in everest. it would say that i i have a x6 multiplier and then like for a second it would switch to x9 then go back to x6 for a while, then switch back for a quick moment back to x9.

What do you guys think is wrong, build is in the sig.

Its normal for C2D's to do this. Intel drops the multiplier to save power and less heat when you aren't under load. If you watch CPU-Z and run orthos, then shut down orthos, CPU-Z will show the change.
