I noticed if I go to my download folder that has 320 files in it,and try to sort by largest it takes a good 5-10 seconds before it does this. While it's "thinking" my CPU fan increases in sound too, and then it's done and it slows a bit.

I've never noticed this on any of my other systems with SSD in the past.
This system has NO mechanical drives to spool up either.

What to check?

D: Blu-Ray Drive (doesn't spool up when I do this sort)

F: Crucial m4 64gb
G: Crucial m4 256gb
 
You know that's a good point, I never ran an antivirus until recently!
