Weird Keyboard Error?!

I just got my new comp up and running and I was fiddling around with the hotkeys on my new Microsoft Internet Keyboard. I hit the Sleep button and it just sent my comp into power-save mode and I couldn't bring it back! I tried pressing keys and moving my mouse but the monitor light remained orange. I pressed the power button quickly which did nothing. I then turn off the comp and turned it back on and the monitor light stayed orange. I had to unplug my APC UPS and clear the CMOS to bring my computer out of powersave. Anyone know a fix for this other than not hitting the Sleep hotkey ^^
