Weird issues with AIW X800XT

I have really good cooling through out my computer and my processor is watercooled. I have been running this card for over a week at 520 and 560 since it has the 1.6 samsung memory. ATI tool in the past found no artifacts but now when I run Ati Tool it finds artifacts, but I get absolutely no artifacts when I run 3DMark05 and mother nature in 3DMark03, I heard the mother nature test is good for finding artifacts, I also played some games and ran benchmarks in games and no artifacts, what can it be? Why dpes Ati Tool find artifacts but I see no issues in games, or benchmarks? I know the AIW x800xt has the same cooling solution as a X800XT Pe, maybe even better. So I see no reason to not be able to overclock it to PE clocks, I mean i had my 6800GT to Ultra speeds with no issues. Please help me.
 
Now in Ati Tool when I go to settings and click on "use old scanning method" it doesnt find artifacts...what is goin on here? Please someone help a n00b :)
 
Well it's past 3:30a.m. in the Eastern U.S., so that put most of that country to sleep. Maybe wait 12hrs.

I have the aiw x800xl, which is basically the same card and I run mine at 560/580 with no problems. I have had the same exact thing happen to me from time to time, atitool picks up artifacts and games dont. I can run 3dmark 2003 for hours and I dont get any heating/artifacting issues, but sometimes atitool picks them up. Maybe someone has an answer to this. If games and 3dmark dont pick up any artifacts, then I dont worry about it.
 
Now is it safe to run my aiw x800xt at 540 and 560 on stock cooling? I see no artifacts in any game or benchmark. I also cannot find where my temperature sensor is, I can't read my temperature in any ATI tool version, where can I get the reading?

ati tray tools show temps on mine. mine goes up to 75C when gaming at stock speeds
 
im not sure that the AIW's (R420) support the temp monitoring in ati tool in the same way.. i cant seem to find it on my computer either, and im 90% sure its not just me
 
Would you guys say im safe on stock cooling to be at 540 and 560? If I see no artifacts in benchmarks or games, I even ran the mother nature in 3DMark03 like 20 times and no issues.

P.S. How can I see my temperature?
 
As long as you dont see any issues in games or 3dmark I would say its ok, but of course lower temps are better.
