Weird IE6 behavior

Just recently, when I go to look up a processor on intel.com, newegg.com or zzf.com - the browser just closes. I has closes up to three windows all at once. Adaware and spybot yeild no problems and i'm baffled. No parental controls enabled. help?

I upgraded to IE7, same thing...

I have tried to update to IE7, then uninstalled IE7, no help. I went to microsofts website for help, and it said to run a file check with the original disk-done that! I have checked for spyware, uninstalled/reinstalled flash player and acrobat reader all to no avail. Any ideas?

I am unable to look at some of the most basic websites , but I can't figure whats making it crash/close. On the [H]ardforums I can't open the processors sections, on ebay I can't open the operating systems sections, etc...etc...

Any IE errors showing up in Event Viewer?
