I have an abit IP35, and im using a SATA HD and SATA DVD Burner.
I decided to hook up an IDE HD I had, I set it on the master jumper and used the master cable to connect it to the IDE
The problem is the bios cannot see the hard drive.
Now whats strange is that when I get into vista, it shows the HD under my computer, and it seems to be working fine.
I also tried the HD on slave mode but it didnt make a difference.
Its kinda a pain because the bios stops the try and detect the hd, but it only detects the sata one, then you have a press a key to continue.
