Weird graphics error's

I got my rig working 2 days ago, installed everything and now I keep getting weird errors with my graphics.
1. Screen just turned everything that was white into purple..
2. I have a 3x3 "fuzzy" spot on myleft hand side of my monitor


Running Windows XP
Readon Sapphire 9800 pro
Current version of my driver is: 6.14.10.6490
(which i think is most recent one?)

Anyone have any suggestions? =/
 
Monitor issue maybe? What kind of monitor do you have? The color issue sounds like the monitor.
 
check the monitor cable. also try degaussing the monitor. Is there a large magnetic source (unshielded speaker) near the monitor? that would cause these issues.
 
Cheap "Eleveton19blueIVV" by Lacie some cheap 300$ 19 monitor i got,it worked fine with other computer.
 
Check the monitor on a friends computer. Give it time to get good and warm. Like the other poster mentioned get any speakers away from it.

uninstall the latest video card driver and install the one that came with that card. If that clears it up, you can test newer drivers. Latest isnt alway greatest with older hardware.

Make sure the video card is seated firmly. Shut down, take it out and put it back in.
 
I dont think its the monitor, i used it for 3 months on other computer and nerver had this problem.
