Weird GeCube X1950XT problem

its the weirdest thing, and for the life of me cant figure out whats causeing it.





this has absolutly no influence on anything else. the rest of the bios and windows boot are problem free, no artifacting at all in games or any other working conditions. its just this initial start up screen.

the even weirder part is that this is a 100% identicle image that appeard when i had my busted 1950XT
 
Sorry, I really can't see what you're talking about because of the flash reflection in center of the LCD. Can you take another PIC from an angle or circle the part of the PIC you're talking about? Is it the areas that look like smudges on the LCD that you're referring to?

Damn, that's weird. I stared and stared at that pic, but I just looked past those lines for some reason. Now that you said that I see them right away.

How's the cable connection on the LCD Another-User? Is it built into to the back of the LCD or is it a plug in? Loose or not a tight fit by any chance? Guess that would be to obvious an answer.
 
its a screw in connection which is nice and tight. as soon as i switched out my old 1950xt with the 800, it worked just fine again. and again, once i put my new 1950 in, it did this exact same thing.

ill try to get a better picture some time tonight.

Much better picture and nothing to worry about at all A-U. It's a common to the X1950XT's and X1950 Pro's series of cards. I'm going to call it the Corrupted Logo BIOS Bug. I and many others have had this, I experienced the multi-color logo and BIOS screen thing with my HIS X1950 Pro and the XT I'm currently using. It also makes the edges/top frame of my BIOS Setup screen appear as multi-colored blocks. So no worries mate.
