weird firefox issue since new update....

Ok. so the other night firefox downloads a new version of itself. I reboot firefox and let it do its thing. Ever since this I cannot access google.com not sure what is up. I can access it on IE7. and sometimes it works in firefox, but usually it just times out. Anyone know whats up?

I also can't use the google search part of firefox. it has the same issue.

Last year, after a Firefox update, the same thing happened to me, but with eBay. And I posted a question just like yours. Try to erase everything under Tools>Clear private data. Then restart.
