Weird DirectX Problem

Hi, I've been having some problems with DirectX producing video corruption when running in fullscreen. I'm running Vista 64 with all the latest updates and latest DirectX updates. I'm using a Q6600 and a 7600gt. For some reason, when not in full screen, there are no problems with the display. Do any of you know if this is a known problem or perhaps a solution or things to try? Thanks.

i seem to have fixed the problem. Installing the newest chipset drivers gets rid of the corruption
