weird colors on screen

after i got everything in my new case and installed all my new mods i decided to rearrange my desk to accompany my new case. anyways, when i boot up my computer there seems to be some discoloration on the bottom left portion of the screen. on the windows welcome screen rather than seeing blue you would see a shade of purple. i reinstalled my display driver only to arrive at the same bad display. has my two year old crt gone bad or did i screw up my vid card during my modding process. here's a screenshot, check the area near the start button, i change my background so you can see what i'm talking about.

That's due to EMI. Time to degauss!

Your monitor (the A90F+ right?) should have a degauss option in the menu.
 
Is that a TV right next to your monitor? Equipment with magnets may affect your screen if placed too close to the monitor. Degauss too.

On a similar side note, once I noticed that a coworkers monitor had tint controls for each individual corner of the screen rather than one to control the entire monitor. So as a practical joke, I screwed with the setting and made hi look similar to yours but much worse. He calls the IT department to complain about his monitor before I let him in on the joke, and they respond to the problem by sending him a new LCD. Now he is the only person in the building with a dual monitor rig!!!
 
Dude. Get out of the house!!! Now!!! It's a ghost.. I'm just kidding but if that is a TV next to your monitor, it may cause interference. Try a little relocation first. I'm curious about this so keep us posted.

First move the TV away from the monitor, or vice versa. Then use the buttons on the front of the monitor to navigate to the degauss option.

yup, thats what i did. moved it about a foot more away from the tv and it was almost all gone. than used the degauss option and its perfectly fine now, thanks.
 
Yeah I was gonna tell you to move the tv away too but um.... it was already posted.
Just kidding. I'm glad you got it all worked out.
