Hi,
This is a problem wich I had before, I'am using a M2N-e motherboard together with a x2 3800+, 2gig Kingston, 1950Pro. It al started last year every time I would boot the computer the time/date would be at 00:00:00 01/01/2006 so nothing to worry about right
after a while every time I would boot the computer al my settings were gone, all custom set timmings for mem/cpu and everything else.
So I figured it must be the CMOS batt being funky/empty/broken replaced it with a Duracell batt of the same voltage. So I all worked again correctly after the batt change, but since yesterday I started losing the correct time/date again and I'am affraid that it isn't going tot take long before all my settings are deleted on every boot.
So is this the Motherboard being faulty, again a faulty batt, or maybe a PSU problem?
Because I don't really have a clue why, and can't find any thing relevant through google
ps the pc is totataly switched of, meaning: powered off and the switch on the powerbrick (< correct english word?) also turned off, every component of the computer is in the powerbrick (psu/speakers/display/switch)
