Website Update Software

[kennybr2]

Hey everyone,

Every client I've worked with has wanted a site that could be easily updated without the need of a programmer. I've found a few softwares, like Interactive Tool's CMS Builder [http://www.interactivetools.com/products/cmsbuilder/] that lets you update the site strictly through a web-interface, but the software does not create valid CSS or xhtml code.

Do any of you know of any software that makes updating text sections of a website easy? Any suggestions other than what I've been looking for?

Thanks!

I find MODx to be easy to use and noob friendly (can't think of better word)... It's easy to template, simple to use, has a good permission system for editing things and controlling what can/can't be edited, and loads of addons...

I've used SnippetMaster for some clients. It works great and is easily skinnable - you can control exactly what text people can change and what they can't so there is no way they can really screw up the code.
