Just throwing this out there:

Is it possible to make a subforum in the Webmastering and Programming for just programming? Just to separate the two. There seems to be an equal amount of discussion for both, and some programmers don't do web stuff, and some webmasters don't do real programming. ?

Just a thought/suggestion.

IMO, there's really not THAT much traffic in this subform to warrant a split.

Don't know how I missed this one...

Once upon a time, we only had a Programming forum here. Some of us petitioned Kyle for a Webmaster forum. The solution was W&P. I think it has worked out well, as there is a lot of crossover between the two, and these days webmasters often need to know more than just basic HTML to do their thing.

So I don't see any point in splitting it, espeically since (as calebb pointed out) there's not enough traffic to really warrant it. If you're not interested in the Webmastering aspect, it's pretty easy to just skim over the thread titles and skip the ones you're not interested in. :)

real programming

Lovely. You want to revert to the days of segregation? If you think web development isn't real programming, you should stop surfing the Internet and definitely stop coming to the [H]. Jelsoft would be very pleased. ;)
