I didn't know where else to post this so...

ok... I got two Logitech QuickCam® Communicate STX for my gf and I. we both had probs installing them but I got them working like they should be (least thats how it seems). anyways, after I got mine working, it seems rather laggy for what I paid for. hers ,on the other hand, hers is obviously running at 30FPS (like its suppose to). she has an intel hyperthreaded 3.0 machine and I got a AMD 64 4000+. another thing thats different is that she is using drivers only whereas I got the software with it. I know its pretty much a ~5FPS difference but I want to get the most out of it as I can. any help is much appreciated. thanks.

yea... but we both have broadband so it doesn't really matter.

(update) well silly me... turns out that I just needed to adjust the lighting so that its not havin to prerender every frame... thats what was causing the laggyness.
