Does anyone here use webcam (USB video) recording software? If so, what do you use and what do you think of it?

I'm looking at recording videos shot using a 1.2 MP Logitech Sphere webcam. OS is Windows XP SP3. It's for both personal and business purposes.

VLC will allow you to record and compress any input stream to disk.
 
Windows Movie Maker works.

For your advanced needs, graphedit can do it well, too.
