Here's a thought.

I 100% understand the no-webmail at registration and agree with it completely.

However, after registration and verifying you have a *real* address would it be possible for that existing member to re-register it under a webmail account?
It's been a long time since I've played with VB so I cannot remember if they have any logic in here for "new" versus "established" membership status on those email changes.
 
vBull only allows the change to groups, not individuals. There is no way to change it on a singular basis. We require a 'real' address to maintained on a permanent basis...one that we can reach you at if the need arises.
