Weapon heater cores?

Where can I get them? Does a modder make them or something? I want to use one in my new loop as I heard they are the best but can't find them anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction? :confused:
 
does he sell the cores and the shrouds?
i know Bio-Hazard has one... he's the only one i've seen who owns one but i know many others have them, just haven't seem 'em.
I'd pm bio and weapon, or email weapon.

I have a weapon heatercore and shroud. The shroud is extremely solid, and the heatercore looks great with the threaded and soldered hose barbs. Unfortunately, I've been unable to spend much time working on getting my case modded and watercooling set up. :(

What I did to get one is pm weapon, per the instructions in his FS thread.

I still haven't installed the shroud and core, because my case isn't ready for it yet. I've got the fan holes cut out in the top of the case, but I've still got some other things to do before I can fit it in (convert the front and rear fan holes to 120mm, PSOne lcd, paint, etc).
 
He sells both. I have both but I got mine from Mike here in Canada. In case you're interested DJ. Mike is kinda busy nowadays doing work and a little something for me but other than that I can forward you an email with prices and pictures if you're interested.

These guys do excellent work. It's just one of the best parts of my computer, will never ever sell it to anyone unless they come out with a better one, still won't sell it then :D

I also think I'm the only one with it painted in Silver :D
 
Weapon just posted on Xtreme Systems. Says he been busy with a new job but in a couple weeks should be all settled in. Also mentioned rolling out some new products and continuing to make rads and shrouds...
 
I have two Weapon core/shrouds (a 302 double pass and a 342 single pass) and indeed, they are things of beauty...with a caveat.
The shrouds are exceptional, I know he spent a lot of time working on the design/construction details and the finish is great.
The heatercores are nicely painted and the barb installation superb.

They both work great, but be aware that they are heatercores- the core matrix is thick and the fin density is high, which means you'll need a fair amount of airflow for them to work well. Compare and contrast a heatercore to the new Thermochill PA series rads (thinner w/ fewer fins per inch) and you can see how fan choice will be affected.

The Weapon stuff is great, particularly well suited visually with a big bore, high flow, badass "American-style" waterloop.
He was working on a prototype reservoir several months ago, I wonder how that is coming along?
 
" The heatercore shrouds were designed and created by two pc water-cooling enthusiast that go by the names "Weapon" and "Malph" on some of the more popular liquid-cooling websites. The final product was achieved after a few different prototypes were tested and suggestions made by the general water-cooling community were incorporated into the design. The shroud line-up has been expanded to include the 2-199/342 heatercore for a more compact package, to the 2-192 for the more extreme water-cooler which measures in at about 10.5" by 10" in size.
The 302 heatercores that were sent have been modified, painted, and are equipped with 5/8" hose barbs for maximum flow.
