My main router connected to my cable modem is a dgl-4300. I recently bought a wrt54gl (which I installed tomato firmware on) to use as a bridge in a room that is 30ft away(for Xbox and 2nd pc). The signal is very weak and xbox live is very laggy! Tomato usually shows a signal quality between 25 and 37 percent. I bought some 9dbi antennas for the wrt54gl and it made little to no difference. Would it be a good idea to sell these two routers and buy a wndr3700 and a dap-1522? Would I notice and increase in speed and range? thanks
