This may sound strange, but my HD is rebooting itself sometimes (maybe the firmware says "MS Inside"). What it does is that it shuts off and boots back up, it all happens within 1-2 seconds. Sometimes it's so bad that it freezes my computer for a second, but luckily doesn't crash.
It rarely happened before, but it started to happen a lot now (1-2 times a day) ever since I left my computer on several days using BitTorrent. So, I thought that if I stop using BT, it'll stop, but it still happens, less often though.
I tried a full media scan, no errors. I hope that this drive doesn't die on me. It doesn't make any clicking sound, hey, I had to replace 2 60GXP 6 times until I had 2 (have them for almost a year now, no problems) that worked because of deadly clicking noise that rendered the HD useless.
I was wondering if anyone had the same problem. If so, I'm gonna go get a new HD. So far, I don't think the problem corrupts my data really, since the WD HD test didn't detect any bad sectors.
