WD wd20ears 2T drive needs replacement board

I have a WD wd20ears 2T drive that I broke off the sata connector and was wondering, if it is possible to replace the PCB board on the HD and recover the data on the drive.

If the board isn't cracked and the traces are not damaged have someone solder on a new SATA connector.

I would just replace the connector. These are like $3 US at digikey, mouser ...
