wd vs seagate 2tb hdd

looking to buy 2 x 2tb drives for simple data storage, but cant decide between wd20ears or st2000dl003. both seem to be 3 platters. the seagate has some kind of native software for advanced format, while the wd needs seperate software.

advice? does anyone own both of these for comparison?
