It appears the WD Red 10 TB is faster than the IronWolf 10 TB or am I misinterpreting this data?

I'm really not sure how that's possible since they both use 256 cache and the IronWolf is 7200 RPM while WD Red is 5400 RPM.

"Performance, surprisingly, rivals that of competing 7200 RPM solutions in most scenarios. 4K read showed us nearly 600 IOPS while write went just over 600 IOPs making it the quickest of the three in our chart. With sequential performance, I found the 10TB Red reaching 220 MB/s peak, 10 MB/s quicker than the 7200RPM IronWolf from Seagate"

(sleeping here) only thing i can think off is that the WD red has more heads and platters (or has wider read write heads that writes data in larger blobs)
