hmm, i installed my 74 gb raptor and it works and all but windows hasnt installed its driver.. it was an oem raptor so nothing came with it.. i looked on wd's website, but i didnt know which driver to download.. can anyone help me out? there's an annoying icon that's asking me to safely remove hardware.. help..

XP does that because it's stupid and doesn't know what to do with removable drives. Just tell it to hide that tray icon and ignore it.

If U remove the Nvidia Nforce 4 IDE Controller Drivers It will get rid of it.. and still work.. ;)
