wd mybook essential internal interface

[ziddey]

I was wondering if anyone knew what the internal interface was? My friend has this drive and could use a sata drive in his new machine. The external interface is only usb, so I fear the internal is only ide. But then I noticed wd doesn't sell a 500gb in ide

edit: found out it's sata inside
