I am trying to run some tests on my 2 Western Digital 500GB AAKS drives. i have been getting Raid0 errors so i want to make sure they are ok or if i need new drives.

I have downloaded and burned both the newest "WD Data Lifeguard for Dos boot disk" and the "WD Data Lifeguard 11.2 Dos boot disk" neither disk will boot.

both were burned using imgburn at 4x to cdrom.

when the computer tries to boot from cd i get the following error

"Cannot start DOS! press any key to retry"

i press the any key and it reboots and does the same thing again, anyone have any solutions?

PS: I'm getting really sick of raid0, thinking about giving it up.

Are you using the CD version or the Floppy version?

If using floppy, try the CD. Mine has always worked when I used it. Maybe re-burn?
