WD Caviar RE2?

yeah, that thing is pretty good.
WD has a 500GB drive out also (out yesterday)
you might also want the Hitachi 7k500, which is supposed to be pretty good.

General rule with Hard drives.
If you keep them at or below 40 Celcius, then your good to go for a very long time.
 
Actually, you'll only want this one if you are setting up a RAID array, because this has the TLER. If you just want the drive for storage on it's own, you'd be better off with the WD4000KD. The one you linked to is the WD4000YR.

The KD and YR are the exact same drive, except, as mentioned, the YR has the Time Limited Error Recovery, which is specifically for RAID arrays.

I just ordered the wd4000kd today myself... the 500 GB drive would be nice, but is just too expensive right now.
