WD 160JS Sata II Problems

So i have the WD Sata II 160G HDD and I installed windows and everything works fine except windows keeps tryin to have me remove it. The safely remove hardware thing will not leave my sytem tray. please someone help me fix this. Thanks

O and I have an asus a8n-sli premium if that matters.
 
I have this exact problem. I just built my first sata system, and when I installed windows, it told me to hit F6 to install the raid drivers, but F6 wasnt' working. I went ahead and installed windows anyway. my raid drive is all set up in the raid bois, so I know that is working, but everytime I boot up, windows sees my sata drive as a removable device. I even installed the raid drivers through the device manager, so I know they are installed. is this what happens to you? I am afraid it is going to be a problem. I just installed it tonight, so I've only been running it like this for about 2 hours. how long has yours been seeing it as a removable drive? and I too would love to hear a solution for this problem. thanks.

um i have been running ti for like a week now. i made another thread bc i didn't know how to change the title on the main page. they say it is normal and that windows does it bc sata 2 is hot swapable. so its normal.
