Hi I did some microsoft updates this morning and now I cant seem to get this thing going again. I've restarted several times, I uninstalled WCG and still this after reinstall. I have no idea what to do next so I'm asking you experts.

P.S. Also I have 3 other comps running with no problem.

Im sure you have already tried this but have you tried the 'Update' command in the Projects tab? Are there any projects currently in your queue or are you out of work and now its just not getting new work?

Edit: It looks like the WCG is down. Now that I look at my other machine I have a whole queue of CFSW units waiting to upload and no new work being downloaded. There website is also down: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/
Nothing you can do but wait it out or load up some work from another BOINC project. :)

Funny thing is this is my amd machine, my 3 intel machines are working just fine, I dont know?

check if there is a newer version of boinc not on WCG's site, um you can also try doing a benchmark run and see if that works..

Well thanks guys for the idea's.

I went into the "Advanced tab" and did the cpu bench mark and it came back fine, so it got me thinking to try the "Do network communication" and sure enough it started up again on all 4 cores.

I guess I learned something new, just glad to be running again : )
