WC wiki page

Nice, I cleaned up a spelling mistake and added a space where you needed one and got a couple of links fixed but there's not much to revise as your pretty much dead on. I do have to say that an 80mm rad would need one helluva lot of airflow to even approach the cooling capabilities of a triple 120 rad but I suppose it is theoretically possible.

thanks.. I thought that was a pretty extreme example and made the point well. If you'd like to flesh out that article any, please, feel free. I welcome user edits.

Added a bit of info, added a link :)

thanks, i like the rewording a lot.

I couldn't help but notice your 6300. Thats a very nice oc.. I'm replacing my 6400 (3040 mhz max) with a 6600 in the hopes of hitting 3.5+ on water. It should be possible and I'm hoping the dud I got will ebay well.

I added some basics on phase since it is a form of liquid cooling.

there is a phase change page as well, but it isn't started yet. perhaps that would be the best location.

ok, moved some of the phase change information over to its own page. I also left a copy onthe WC page and linked to the phase page. That should get everything where it belongs.

By the way, that was an excellent writeup on phase change. Did you do that from your knowledge or research?

From my knowledge with a bit of clarification from research. Believe it or not but air does the same thing coming from an air compressor.

Nicely done.. Do you think the page would benefit from some specific, detailed, information on components or suggested methodologies (sp) ?

Minor modifications done for clarification and presentation.

Haha! I wanted to find you and say thanks for all the corrections, grammar nazi! Its amazing, i had no idea so much was wrong with the '(Numerous changes to fundamentals and capitalization)' on that page until you fixed it.. thanks!

ps, can i talk you into checking out http://www.overclockingwiki.org/index.php?title=Core_2_Duo for me? probably needs the same tlc, lol... I did my best though.

Yeah I got really lucky (for once) with this OC. I can get it to 3556mhz stable for 4 Orthos hours, but my RAM craps out . I'm at 3458 mhz priming for stability... One FSB at a time... Eventually i'll get to 500*7 i hope :).

I'm shutting down this rig as soon as I update the bios to install the 6600 i just got. Hopefully next time this one boots up it will be at 3600.

It might but it would need to come from guys with working knowledge, I have theoretical knowledge but no practical knowledge. I don't like the detremental side-effects of phase myself.

Same here.. i'm a water cooling man, myself.. Speaking of which, I just booted up the e6600 at the motherboard's max FSB. Netted me 3,420 @ 380 fsb... this Abit aw9d-max is really holding me back. If Abit doesn't release a new bios soon I'm going to have to move to Asus.. I really wanted this to work, but so far it doesn't look promising.

Went through it very quickly. There are a couple paragraphs I'd like to completely scrap and reword, but I don't want to significantly change the "tone".

On the whole, the Wiki, in its current state, is a bit lacking in formality. The Core 2 Duo article is also a bit "charged", but I doubt you're trying to stick to strict Wikipedia-like guidelines, so it's probably of no real consequence.

It's more important to really pound on getting the content there, but a formal presentation is a necessity for any great Wiki (in my opinion, anyway).

EDIT: Oh, and don't get me wrong - it's looking good so far. I'd also be more than happy to dash up a little logo or what have you if you'd like.

Your response is very encouraging. Its ironic, the responses I've seen have varied between indifference and bemusement to very supportive and generous, as yours has been. I'm been especially pleased with the response of some other website editors I've been in contact with who have been very supportive and willing to help. This will become a little clearer with time.

I reviewed the changes to the Core 2 Duo article and all I can say is your welcome to edit any page you like. Its ironic, I've read that page at least half a dozen times and missed nearly all of the corrections you made. A second set of eyes is so valuable.

If your revisions point to the more formal nature you are speaking of, I'm all for it. I can adjust my writing style more in that direction and I will. It won't happen right away, but at least I can start now and move in that direction.

What kind of logo ideas do you have in mind? I was rather pleased with my photoshop'd logo.. took me all of 15 mins. :)

I'm starting to categorize all the article in the wiki to start to make sense of whats there. I'm glad to mention that I've seen users articles and edits every single day since the wiki went public. There's a long way to go, but its coming along nicely.

I wonder, who here knows enough about Danger Den to do a write up on them?
