WC question.

I use the 99cent stuff from the local grocery stores. Never had a problem in 7 years.
 
Distilled water from the grocery store...i never used biocide or a kill coil...never had any growth problems in 3 or 4 years now.
 
Should i change the coolant once a year? And should i add a drain port to one of the lines?
 
It's recommended to change once a year, but it's sometimes not necessary.
 
Thanks for all the help. I'm gonna start with the kit i linked. Once i get the know how on setting up. I will move on to a more custom loop.

Go custom right off the bat if you want to save money. They arent hard to set up. Not that you picked a bad kit to start or anything...but if you already know you want custom then just go for it. I personally dislike the bay reservoir...i have a feeling its going to be noisy. You will also need alot more radiator to cool your whole PC...that kit will really only support your CPU. Though with 2 690s you may want a second loop anyway.
