Ok I currently don't *need* a watercooling system, however, I probably will in the future. So, as I usually like to put the cart before the horse, I'm looking to buy a WC system that is versatile..

I'm currently running an AMD Athlon XP processor, ATI Radeon 9600, on an Abit NF7-S MB..

I'm not sure what I'll be upgrading to, probably another AMD processor, and most likely an Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra..

Anyone have any suggestions for a good WC system that's versatile enough for what I'm doing?

That's just a basic one right? My friend said they make 'em with a cooling device that'll drop the temp below freezing?

if you want to drop your cpu temp below freezing, you are going to have to look into phase-change cooling, not watercooling.... read up in the "extreme cooling" forum here for info about that. although you will also be looking a considerably higher price tag to go with it!

(and no GPU cooling)

they do make things that go below freezing (by they i'm talking about other companies, not DD)....but being that you are a newb to alternate cooling methods i think you ought to take just one step at a time.

and to answer the original question, yes that's just a basic DD kit

Yeah we'll see how that one works, thanks for the help guys..

As far as those below-freezing coolers, are those even necessary? I mean does anyone here actually NEED that to run their processor at the overclock settings they have?
