Here is my current gear:
E-VGA 680i SLI A1 Motherboard
E6850 Processor cooled by an Asetek Vapochill Lightspeed
8800GTX w/ HR-03 Plus Air Cooling
1x 74Gb Raptor
1x 160Gb Maxtor
4x 1024GB Ram DDR2 1066Mhz
Here is what I am considering:
680i NB & SB EK acrylic waterblocks on 1x 120mm radiator at the front
8800GTX EK acrylic waterblock on 240mm radiator external with swiftech radbox 2 mounting plate.
Which is the best setup for quiet and good overclocking?
1). 120mm internal for 8800GTX, 680 NB & SB waterblocks.
2). 120mm internal on NB & SB and 240mm on 8800GTX Radbox 2 mount
3). 120MM internal on NB & SB and 120mm on 8800GTX Radbox 2 mount
4). 240mm internal on NB, SB, and 8800GTX Radbox 2 mount
Within these choices future upgradability must be considered 780i and possibly 2-3 video cards. I'm definately gonna go quad core and maybe SLI or triple SLI as more DX10 games are released that will use it.
My gaming resolution is 1680x1050, so would I ever need SLI or Triple SLI with that as my native resolution?
Can a 240mm rad run SLI or Triple SLI on WC gear?
I can only fit a 120mm or 160mm in my case at the front and possibly a 80mm on the read exhaust fan area. For the 8800GTX I'm thinking I would need an external radiator which is where the swiftech radbox 2 mount comes in.
Here is the case that I use: You can see the 120mm at the front and the 80mm in the rear exhaust area.

The last image shows how much space I have internally for any type of water cooling.
