i am new to water cooling and am trying to build my first one, i already have looked/canvassed/bought for parts.
My problem is i dont have any diagram to follow, where will my pump go? before the reservoir or after the reservoir? is it gonna be pumping water to the CPU block or sucking water from it?
Please HELP, i need schematics on connection of the parts and diagrams on the water flow.

Haven't WC'd yet but am gettin' ready to so this is sort of a blind-leading-the-blind scenario. I have done my homework though and I believe this is the typical setup: The pump usually sits at the floor of the case. If your using a T-line it'll be directly off the outlet of the pump. the first stop for your chillin' water will cool the part you want to cool the most, typically your CPU. If you're cooling you chipset or GPU they'll come next. Then you should run the water through the radiator then to the reservoir (if your not using the T-line) then finally to the inlet of the pump. The best way to get ideas is to check out the gallery of pics people posted of their WC'd rigs. There's a ton of sweet setups so you should find several that suit your needs. Here's the link:

The only real guidelines for routing your tubes are these:

1) if you can, place the res/t-line right before the INLET of the pump
2) Make the shortest run with the least bends. Order of blocks, radiators, and pump makes no difference.

Technically, in a closed loop the pump is both pushing water too and sucking water from everything in the loop.
