How much is a decent watercooling set? say for a A64....

EDIT: Advertising deleted. - Lethal

A decent kit with moderate overclockability should cost you around $150 to $200, with it closer to 200. Buy the components yourself would probably save you 20-30 bucks but it would be a little more of a hassle. Go to coolerguys.com, frozencpu.com, or sharkacomputer (not sure of the name) to find out for sure.

It's Sharka Computers

What do you want to do with your computer that you aren't doing now on air? Also what case are you going to use? And what is your budget? What is important to you: Asthetics, ballz out cooling, quietness, money, or ? Once you tell us that we can help you out. :)

On a budget you dont want stuff from sharka. They deal in mostly import stuff which while some people like how it looks, is not a good choice at all in the price/performance arena.

That's not completely true...

If you wanted a true low flow setup, an Eheim 1046 coupled with a filltank from either Innovatek (a Tank O Matic plugon) or Aqua Computer (the AquaInlet), plus a Noise isolator dual pass single 120mm radiator (it's around $35) and an Innovatek XX-Flow CPU block (http://www.sharkacomputers.com/inxxcpuwablw.html) or even a Flatflow can be had for pretty cheap. Throw in 10mm OD tubing and fittings and you're set.

When I went low flow around 2 years ago, that's what I started with. I added more later on when I wanted, but didn't break the bank to start. I also don't really care for the Aquatubes myself, and nothing beats a filltank anyway :)

well i don't know what average good tempatures are but yea and this is going to be for a future a64 3400+ (socket 939) case probably a small one.

Like they said, if you build your own, it's around $200 for a basic system to $500 to the best system with the best components. If you want one prebuilt, the Koolance Exos 2 is $400 with CPU block or you could get a used Exos AI for cheaper.

I'm curious -- when you added more, did you have any problems with the system being low-flow?
