Looking to watercool a new system build im putting together. I will be using it in the same Panzerbox I have right now so I can easily fit either a 120.1 on the rear exhaust or 120.2 using the rad adapter in the top of the case. Im only looking to cool the CPU which will be either a Phenom 965 or a Thuban x6 (depending on when my money comes in). Im also looking for quiet yet decent performance at stock speeds, no OCing here. While I could afford to spend 500 dollars on a setup, id rather keep prices as low as possible. Thanks for any info guys.

Why not get one of these.

It is not as fun as putting together your own setup, but it fits your needs and is way less money than typical WC setups.

That is what ive actually got picked out right now but ive heard a lot of mixed stories about it not performing very well. Maybe im just expecting similar or better performance compared to my Coolermaster Hyper TX2...although I didn't think the TX2 was really a high end performer...is it?

If you are not going to OC, why not just get a silent low speed Noctura fan for your current cooler?
