I've just completed my first watercooler, and fired it up last night. I hadn't used anti-freeze or iodine during the leak tests, so last night was the first time I have used it. (I'm using 5% anti-freeze/5% iodine/90% distilled for corosion and bug killing)

My issue is this: When I first added the fluid, the anti-freeze was pink and the iodine made the water more red. However, when I woke up this morning, all of the red color had disappeared and the water was now clear. There doesn't appear to be any leaking. Is this a normal thing or should I worry about this?

thats supposed to happen. it diffuses through the water completly and you cant tell its there.

its fine its just, that the pink pigment colour (<-- im canadian so its a U) ight... any ways the pink pigment colour probably settled in the tubs or on the bottom of the res or in the blocks, if you wanna get it out and clean it out just buy some hydrex.. that will clean it out well... oh yea ...... do not put oxi clean in your rig while the pump is on that will serously fook it up KAAA BOOM:eek:

That is hilarious. Is that the voice of experience talking?
