hey guys, i just hooked up my h220 apex ultra, i was wondering. like i felt the water and how come its warm? isnt it supposed to be cold?
 
Nope it's going to be warm.
It's pumping around coolant that is taking the heat away from the CPU and out the rad, but the rad isn't going to drop the temps to 0c.

Warm is normal.
What kind of temps are you getting?
 
It is warm from the heat it takes away from the processor. If it was cold then it would probably mean it wasn't cooling your processor. :p No matter how good your watercooling system is, it's always going to be at least a couple degrees above ambient temperatures, unless you are using some sort of active cooling system.
 
To get the temps of the water, you can buy a probe that installs as a t-line. Frozencpu has a Thermaltake one and an Alphacool one that plugs into a Digidoc (IIRC). Alternately you could buy an Aquaero and a probe w/ a t-line ($$$).
