OK, I'm waiting on all my parts to come in (Exos, blocks) and I'm beginning to wonder how to get the cooler installed on my GPU. Allow me to explain.
My plan is to temporarily mount the blocks in their places without compund and then measure, cut and install the lines on the blocks. Then I'll take the blocks off, fill the system and leak test with the blocks outside the case. I'll probably put a bucket below the parts and a plastic sheet over the case to separate the WC system from my other components. Here's where I start to get confused.
For leak testing, it will be easy enough to remove the video card and pop off the waterblock with everything assembled, but what do I do when it comes time to re-install the block on the GPU? I'll have a completed loop with all the blocks and I won't be able to just lay the card down on a table and install the block. The block will be dangling in mid air because of the lines connected to it. So how do I go about installing the block in this situation?
I need some good sage advise from all you WC veterans. Including corrections of any silly assumptions or plans I have made.
Thanks.
