Hello all, I was wondering about cooling solutions for the geforce 7800. I was thinking a Maze4 GPU block and ram sinks. Can't go wrong with that right? Well I was thinking about the ram sinks and do I want to use thermal tape or arctic ceramic epoxy, does the AS ceramic epoxy cool better then thermal tape, probably so. Does it matter on the ram, it may? Then I was thinking what happens if I epoxy those ram sinks and then I want to sell the card later, the original stock cooler or any aftermarket ones for that matter probably won't fit unless the ram sinks come off. So thinking about all this hassle, I started thinking about the $100+ nv-78 Danger Den cooler again.
so my question is, for the money maze4+ramsinks equals about $60-70.00, will an an nv-78 DD block cool better, or will the maze4 with thermaltape ramsinks be more effective?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for all my threads and questions.. I am going to be spending a lot of money on this stuff and want to make sure I do it right the first time.
