Hi,
I've managed to get this setup from a friend of mine. However, I'm not sure if I really want to go with this. Anyways, here's the setup.

Koolance Exos II
Swiftech MP350------------------------->With the acrylic top mod.
GPU Waterblock for 8800 GTS----> I think it's a full block, covers the whole GPU.
Swiftech Storm Rev I

This setup would be cooling my q6600 and 8800gts 640.

Anyways, I'm thinking of ditching the the koolance part of the setup and buy 2 MCR120 radiators and have them placed in two different spots. Would this work ok? Also, there's 2 version of it, one with a built in reservoir and the other without. Should I get one with reservoir and another without or get both without it and get a separate reservoir or T-line?

I'm thinking of either having them in series or have one in between the GPU & CPU.

Would the idea above be better than the setup with the koolance radiator?

Also, there's some discoloration of the blocks(ie. not shiny copper), would this be due to corrosion? If so, what's a good way to get rid of it?

Thanks for any suggestions.

its realy necesary to buy koolance,i reccomande,to use ek blocks or alphacool, and radiators from swiftech or alphacool extreme, pumps if you want quiet operation, chose laing ultra,if you want presure big, chose oase pumps.
Tubes use from tygon or inovatek, depends on your fitings.
good luck!!!!!!

No to Koolance Exos 2... it uses an aluminum radiator and will eat away at your blocks.

Don't get a full cover block, it's way overpriced and the 8800GTS is already a previous gen card. If you want to watercool it, I'd suggest an MCW60 or D-Tek's new block. The MCW60 is less restrictive but with a good enough pump the DTek should perform better.

Thanks for the replies.

As for the stuff that's listed up there, it's was just given/bought cheaply from a friend. So I already have the full GPU block, CPU block & the mp350 pump. The Koolance part is just mainly for the radiator. I know mixing aluminum + copper stuff gives some corrosion. But friend claims using the koolance fluid seemed to work well.

I was planning to get this additive to use in the loop if I just kept the same setup. The problem is, I'm thining of getting two MCR120 radiators and move everything internal. Would that work for the 8800 GTS & q6600? Silence is the big one, but I don't really want high temperatures either.

Thanks
