Well, I'm back.. Dont know if you remember me at all..
But I'd like to share an Idea I've had a while to you. I, being one of the stupid people in America, bought a pre-modded v1000, complete with blowhole and a small ass peephole of a window. To reconcile the error in my ways, I'm considering making the jump from an absolute Aircooling-aholic to a more, watercooled enigma of a user. I've found, in fact, that the V1000 is nearly PERFECT for the job.
Imagine this:
The blowhole of the V1000 from Performance-Pcs is in awesome alignment for the output of water to flow straight to where it needs to be most, in my opinion: the graphics card. Utilising a heatercore or similarly setup 120mm radiator, I could use the blowhole effectively as a chimney - exausting heat well enough to be an effective cooling while ALSO drawing in the insanely cold air from the adjacent sides of the case. A dual 3.5" resovoir would sit in the conveniently mounted area beneath the motherboard, allowing water to flow upwards directly to the radiator. (Wiring may have to be redone to impede less on the flow tubes). A large pump would sit directly beside the memory modules, completely hidden from all but the most inquisitive of onlookers. I'm hoping you see my design now, and I've already bought quite a few of the parts... But what I'd like from you is... what you think of my gem? Is this an acceptable tribute to the [H] for my absence?
